Abstract
Our work aims to determine the possible role of six trace elements including; magnesium, zinc, copper, manganese, iron and cadmium in urinary stone formation.
In the present study we conclude that magnesium and manganese may have inhibitory effect, zinc and copper may have stimulatory effect in the process of stone formation, while cadmium and iron could not proved to have any role in urinary stone formation.
