Abstract
This investigation was carried out to differentiate among nine mutants of barley derived from Giza 119 cultivar and their control. Two environmental stresses were used in evaluating these mutants; i.e. salinity and drought. The characters were studied; i.e. germination percentage, plant length, plant tillers, total number of spikes, spike length, number of grain per spike, total weight of spikes, total weight of grains, total weight 100 grain, total weight of straw, root length and total weight of roots.
