Abstract The aim of this thesis was to study and compare the outcome of both antireflux operative techniques in terms of reflux control, dysphagia, and acid exposure control on 24-hour pH monitoring. And determine the impact of preoperative normal and abnormal esophageal motility on the outcome. Thirty patients with chronic symptoms of GERD were studied. The study conducted in the period between 2003 and 2008. |
