Abstract Lippia nodiflora L is a herbaceous, pernnial and prostarte plant; native to India and scattered in Mediterranean region, tropical and south Africa, Madagascar, Ceylon and the warmer region of Asia and America . It is cultivated in Egypt in the garden of Faculy of Agriculture Cairo University and was successfully cultivated in the experimental station of faculty of pharmacy, El-Minia University. Part I: Botanical study including : the macro-and micromorphology of the stem, leave, flower and root in both entire and powdered forms. Part II: Phytochemical study including: nphytochemical screening extraction, fractionation , isolation and identification of different constituents from the aerial parts of Lippia nodiflora L. Part III: Biological studies of different fractions, isolated compound no.2 and volatile oil of Lippia nodiflora L. |
