the egyptian irrigation distribution system suffers from historical problems , both physical and managerial lead to water losses and low water use efficiency at different levels in the irrigation network several irrigation improvement and rehabilitation projects have been implemented to tackle these problems with main objectives of water savings and raising water use efficiency without giving the enough attention from the water suser`s perspective . in other words without enough consideration for the different scenarios of water allocation and distrbution to match supply with demand at branch canal level and higher.
