Abstract
Nausea and vomiting are among the most common postoperative complaints that can occur after general, regional or local anesthesia. It can result in patient discomfort, morbidity such as aspiration of vomitus, delay of oral drug therapy and fluid intake, electrolyte imbalance, dehydration and finally, wound dehiscence.
