Abstract
The most of our work is to determine the level of troponin T concentration among neonates with respiratory distress and to compare this te normal range detected by Awada et al (2007) of cardiac troponin Tconcentrtation observed in a healthy neonates occures between severity of respiratory distress will be taken from pediatric departement and NICU in El-Nasr general hospital in Port-said. the mean age of the neonates was 9.34+5.1 days , the mean weight was 2.5+0.9 kg , the mean gestational age per weeks was 35.34+3.5 weels , the mean Apgar was 7.8+1.5 the mean duration on ventilarwas 5.8+ 0.2 days and the mean cTnT concentration was 0.11+ 0.06. the most frequent gestational age among neonates with respiratory distress was 40 weeks 33.8% followed by 39 weeks and 35 weeks 11% females are higher than males among neonates with respiratory distress. and 10%
