Abstract
The endotracheal. Tube is used in most of the patients undergoing general anesthesia. Laryngoscope must be used and it is associated with an increase in heart rate, blood pressure and intraocular pressure. Many techniques were tried in order to attenuate these changes and of them was the laryngeal mask Airway and cuffed Oropharyngeal Airway. In order to perform this study (64) patients (ASA.1-2) were allocated randomly into two groups. This study shows that, both devices causes minimal changes in the heart rate, mean arterial blood pressure, oxygen saturation sao2, end tidal co2 both devices were similar in establishing safe and effective airway.
