Abstract This thesis consists of five chapter as follows: Chapter (J): This chapter is devoted to introduce the introduction which shows the various types of grinding processes and importance of these processes. Also, the main factors affecting these proc~sses, advantages and the disadvantages of every type will be introduced in this chapter. Chapter (2): This chapter contains a review of the grinding theories and pervious mathematical models that manipulate grinding process. Then the Axial Dispersion Model was recommended to be used in this work. Chapter (3): This chapter is devoted to mathematical analysis and applied by the computer program, That describes the transporting of material ••• through the mill. This analysis is based on Crank - Necolson technique and the program is written in Fortran language. Chapter (4): This chapter contains the munerical results and tracer distribution curves which show the relationships between the tracer concentration with respect to the position on the mill.
