Abstract
This study was carried out during the two successive seasons of 2004/2005 and 2005/2006 at the experimental farm of faculty of agriculture, Kafr El-Sheikh university, to study the effect of two rates of four kinds of organic fertilizers, e.g. FYM potatoes shoots compost, straw rice compost and sugar beet leaves compost as comparing it with N, P, and K (recommended fertilizer dose) on the vegetative growth, oil productivity, chemical composition of sage plants. Also, study the effects of different sources of organic manure and packaging type on the volatile oil percentage on the dried leaves of sage in the different storage periods. Two cuts were taken for each season.
