المستخلص The term ‛‛soil quality” has been coined to describe the combination of biological, bio-chemical, chemical and physical characteristics that enable soils to perform a wide range of functions. In this study, a field experiment was conducted to measure soil quality by evaluating some biological, bio-chemical and chemical indicators and yield and yield components as affected by adopted farming system with different kinds of crops (wheat, sugar beet, berseem, faba bean, onion and garlic) were considered. According to the obtained results, the T٤ treatment (dressing with recommended P, K and N which added as (١:١) co-organic mixture prepared from sewage sludge and poultry manures (١:١) on N content bases), recorded substantial increases in comparison with other treatments in the most biological, bio-chemical and chemical indicators. As well as, T٤ treatment recorded the highest increases in yield and yield components of all tested crops. |
