Abstract polyneuropathy occurs with a combination of multiple symptoms, signs, and abnormal electrodiagnostic studies so electrophysiological examination should always be done to avoid underestimating peripheral neuropathy. Autonomic disturbance can be assessed by recording PASP even in subclinical conditions.
