Cataract was the only lens affection recorded in the present tudy. Certain cases of cataract in sheep habe a posterior

All clinical cases were su1Jj ect ed to some method s of conservative treatment and possible sureicul int~rferences.
Trichophyton verricosum was isolated from 8u3pect~d cases of mycotic blepharitis in sheep, while AsperGillus fumigatus
was isolated from cases suffering from a £ranulom~tous swelling ~ the medial canthus of the eyeball in donkeys.
The results of the surgical interferences in the present study were summarised in the follo’.:ing :
Transpalpebral enucleation of the eyeball is more preferable than subconjunctival one •
• ~enteration of the eyeball and orbital contents is indicat d
only in advanced neoplasia of the orbit •
• Intraocular prosthesis exclude the disadvantage of enuclea¬tion of the eyeball and ffers a practical alternative to enucleation in the future.
