Abstract

the importance of fluorescence spectra in estmating catract initiation. and progression has been invastigated in these wok. the results show that each state of nuclear catract is characterized by a charateristics intensity ratio of the fluorescence bands if the lenses are exited monochromatically with wavelength between 350-500 nm. there is also ashift in the fluorenscence location towards longer wave length as disease progress
since ascorbic acid (ASC) is avery important redox system in the length interaction between ASC and other has been studied too.
