Abstract
The present study have been carried out to investigate the effect of environmental pollution by hydrofluoric acid (HF), emitted currently from manqabad super-phosphate factory, Assiut province, on animal healthy conditions of goats grazing nearby.
During this investigation 290 native breed goats were chosen from different areas at various distances for from the plant.
Analysis of goats sera was carried out to determine its fluoride content and its relation with haematological pictuire and some serum constituents.
Haematological picture comprised the total RBCs, total and differential WBCs counts, Hb, PCV, MCH, MCHC and SR. Investigated serum constituents included total protein, creatinine, urea nitrogen, total lipid, glucose, bilirubin, calcium, inorganic phosphorus, iron and copper.
