Abstract
Abstract
The effect of induced hypovitaminosis A was studied on ten male goats (they were divided into 2 groups each of 5 animals).
The affected animals showed disturbance in general health conditions characterized by loss of appetite, reduced body weight, respiratory disturbances manifested by thick nasal discharge, dyspnoea, cough and ended with pneumonia, also one of the animals showed edematous enlargement of the knee joint, other animals show enlargement of head, abnormal growth of the hooves.
The biochemical analysis of the blood revealed significant changes in the carotene, vitamin A, blood glucose, serum urea nitrogen, total lipids, ALT and T3 and non significant changes in both total proteins and T4.
The histopathological changes revealed changes in the rumen, liver, lung, testis and optic nerve.
الملخص
في هذه الدراسه تم دراسه تأثير نقص فيتامين أ علي ذكور الماعز(تم تقسيمهم إلي مجموعتين ”كل مجموعه من خمس حيوانات”
وقد ظهر علي الحيوانات تحت التجربه الأعراض الأتيه: فقدان للشهيه مع نقص في الوزن,ظهور أعراض تنفسيه(إفرازات من الأنف,كحه,صعوبه في التنفس والتهاب رئوي) كما ظهر تضخم في مفصل الركبه مع تضخم في الرأس ونمو غير طبيعي في الحوافر.
وقد أظهر التحليل الكيميائي لمصل الدم وجود تغيرات معنويه في مستويات كل من
فيتامين أ,الكاروتين,الجلوكوز,الدهون الكليه,اليوريا T3,ALT
بينما لاتوجد تغيرات معنويه في قيم كل من البروتينات الكليه ,T4
وقد أوضحت الفحوص الهستوباثولوجيه وجود تغيرات في أنسجه كل من الكرش والرئه والكبد والخصيتين و العصب البصري
