Summary 100 words The continuous increase in the use of devices producing (EMFs) has led to growing of the number of persons exposed-enormously.
The objective of this study is to investigate the possible effects of high-voltage electric field on animals and exposed workers in the field stations.
In this study, rats were exposed to 10 KV for 12, 18 hrs daily for 14 days, and recovery test group. As well as workers in transforming line stations.
Analysis of the ECGs showed significant changes in the recorded parameters.
Hematological changes were recorded could be attributed to bone marrow intoxication. Serum (AST), (CK), (LDH) Glucose, cholesterol, Na+ urea, (BUN), creatinine were increased, this increased reflects noticed clinical pathologic effects on the heart & kidney. While Ca+2, were markedly declined. IgG, IgM and C4 produced changes in the immune system.
On the psychological and behavioral studies of workers, revealed that occupational exposure in all the tested groups leads to decrease of scores.
