المستخلص
The study aimed at designing counseling program to reduce anxiety among blind adolescents and modifying their false ideas and negative behaviors.
Tools of the study :
Anxiety scale for blind people ,questionnaire for data collection about blind adolescents , case study sheet , questionnaire to identify the opinions of export about the program as well as the counseling program were prepared by the researcher and used to achieve the hypotheses of the study .
Reliability and validity test was done for these tools to sure their Efficacy / quality.
The study was carried out on 64 male and female students in the prep school .
The study yielded to the following results :
1- There were significant differences between pre ., and post - program regarding the means of anxiety scores in both male and female students .
2- There were significant differences between immediate post – program and follow – up regarding the means of anxiety scores in both male and female students .
3- There were significant differences between groups of male and female students in immediate post – program and follow – up .
