The recent study aimed to know marital conflicts forms that found in marriage relationship especially in Upper Egypt from both of mothers and their daughters’ adolescences students behavior student view. On one hand, to test the effect of these conflicts appearance of depression for mothers. On the other hand, appearance some of psychiatric disorders, behavioral problems and study problems with their adolescent student daughters. And finally to test the effectiveness of prepare therapeutic program design on integrative behavioral marital therapy with cognitive therapy in reducing marital conflict and maternal depression and effect of that in their daughter adolescences behavior.
The total of the main study sample was 341 couples of the mothers and their daughters chosen from some Assuit city that: represent governmental, experimental and private schools. The range of mothers ages were between (35 – 45) years (m. 40.90), while their female’s student age was 14–16 years old (m. 14.60). The therapeutic sample were (6 mothers) from the main study sample. Tools of study were: Data collection forum for female’s students and mothers (by the researcher), Marital Conflicts Scale (MCS) for mothers and their daughters’ adolescences students (by the researcher), Eyberg Child Behavior Inventory (ECBI) and Sutter-Eyberg Student Behavior Inventory–Revised (SESBI-R) (Elbheary, in press), Symptoms Check List 90–Revised (SCL-90-R) (Elbheary, 2004), BDI-II Scale (Ghareeb,2000), School Behavior Checklist (S.B.C) (Elbheary, 2006) and the Therapeutic Program in reducing Marital Conflict and Maternal Depression (by the researcher) were administered on the experimental sample which consists of (6) mothers in the main study.
The study result showed a coefficient correlation between marital conflicts and depression for mothers. A coefficient correlation was also found between marital conflicts and some of psychiatric disorders, behavioral problems and study problems with their daughters’ adolescences students. The therapeutic study results showed the effectiveness of therapeutic prepared program in reducing marital conflict and maternal depression for mothers. Also, psychiatric disorders, behavioral problems and study problems were reduced for their daughters’ adolescences students.
