Abstract
In recent years, extensive studies are being carried out on a group of materials known as superionic conductors. This is because of possible applications of such materials in energy sources e.g. fue cells, memory devices etc Structural phese transitions may occur when a material changes its crystallographic structure under certain conditions of controlled heating.
