المستخلص
The thesis handled the definition of political obedience in Islamic thought, through analysis of its historical development path, and detection of its cognitive problem.
The study illustrated the exposure of the concept to many interpretative readings through the Islamic historical practice, which deprived the concept of some of its Quran properties for the favor of political obedience. Its essence represented a series of intellectual retreats while confronting the political tyranny which followed the caliphate stage.
The study demonstrated that the concept produced many problems related to the relation between power and nation, a matter that resulted in making the concept be a cognitive obstacle in front of any trial to reorganize the relation positively.
The study revealed that contemporary Islamic thought still practice the same traditional problems related with the concept of political obedience, resulting in prevention of accomplishing its speech renovation in confrontation of power issues and developing the value of politics.
Hence, the study revealed the historical effect in establishing and restricting the concept as a condition to re establish the concept according to a new vision which considers the limitations of Quran and the fact of the Islamic reality in the same time.
The study consisted of five chapters:
Chapter one dealt with the theoretical foundations of political obedience concept via the study of power phenomenon in societies and an analysis of the social foundation of the obedience concept, its physical, psychological and cultural motives.
Chapter two handled the attempt of founding the concept of political concept according to Quranic and Sunnah texts in order to highlight the essential properties of the concept, and then analyzing its cognitive structure.
Chapter three handled the analysis political obedience concept in Fiqh and philological contexts.
