المستخلص
This study aims to through the light on some economic
aspects of new land reclamation and planting in Egypt. It
attempts to calculate the land area which has been reclaimed
and planted as will as shortrun and longrun future programs to
add more of it including estimation of the amount of water,
human, and capital resources. Futhermore, it aims to show the
most important methods and system related to the distripution
of these land, beside evaluation of the experiment of the
private sector in reclaiming and planting new land through
analysis of the feasibility studies of these projects and the
most important problems, obstacles and adapted solutions in
this sector. Finally suggesting recommendations and solutions
to confront these problems.
The researsher used several analytical prouduses in this
study, including the discriptive and statistical method to
measure the financial aspects of the projects carried out by
the private sector.
This study consists of seven chapters:
The first one dealt with reviewing the literature of the
important scientific studies, preceding and pertaining to that
subject.
The second chapter is concerned with the reclamation of
the new land in Egypt.
