The Egyptian agriculture consists of farms of different sizes so the strudy tries to test the effect of farm sizes (less than one feddan, 1—5, 5—10, and more than 10 feddans) on economic effeciency of resources [production of cereals and broad beans crops in — rZäVt 4ty. -,-- As far as wheat crops is concerned, the study found that for all the four farm sizes, production per feddan of wheat is still for beyond the economical stage. For all farm sizes the study found that yield per feddan of wheat could be increased by using more family and hierd labour, chemical fertilizers and manure as the V.M.P. for each of the mentioned resources is more than one. But for farm size No. 1 (less than one feddan) the study found that it does not need to add more manure as the V.M.P. for this resource is less than one. |
