المستخلص The aim of this research is to study the efficienoy oVuatng si1ab1e resources in the production ci’ Pomegrnntes, the jalomlo efficiency of fanm of different characteristics, and F shid lights on marketing problems of Panegrantes in 6ifaloot count,r. The role of ftuit and in partioulur Pomegrantes in yptian agriculture has been increasing during the period study ( 1960 — 1978). Fron 1960 to 1978 the increase in erea ot both fruits and Pomegrantes amounts to 153 ercent and 91 percent respectively. In the same period - increase in the value of production of both fruits and, e€rantes amowits to 3863 peroent and 532 percent repeively. The increase of production of both ftrits and megruntes in the same period amounts to 61 percent and 7 percent respectively. Asiut ranks first among Egyptian Governorates in ernis of Pomegrantes urea whioh increased from 1960 to 1978 y 138 percent, The value oI’ production in Assiut increased the same period by 286 percent. |
