Abstract Recurrent inguinal hernia is one of the most frequently encountered surgical problems and its surgical treatment continuous to undergo technical modifications and more recently,the use of prosthesis to buttress the posterior wall of the inguinal canal has been reported using the preperitoneal approach either open or laparoscopically . In this work 20 patients with recurrent inguinal hernia were randomized into two groups - Group (S) Stoppa : Which included (10) patients with recurrent inguinal hernia managed by Stoppa repair. |
