The most frequent structural neurological complication of systemic
cancer is the secondary metastatic deposits in the central nervous
system, the most common primaries are from lung, breast and colon
carcinomas in contrast to prostate, bladder and ovarian tumours which
rarely metastasize.
Recently, increased incidence of brain and spinal metastases is due

modalities, and accurate statistics.
This work aiming for evaluation of the final outcome, survival. rate,
quality of life of patients with brain and spinal metastatic tumours
managed by surgery followed by radiotherapy and chemotherapy or
radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy without surgery due to inoperability.
A review of the literature of the metastatic tumours in the central
