Abstract
The main objective of this research was to study heterosisand type of gene action under different drought stress conditions.The (H1)values were highly significant for most traits under two conditions ,over dominance gene effect was found to be control of most traits ,heritibility estimates in narrow sense ranged for 40% to 95 % under drought stress.Significant and highly and highly significant positive correlation was found between grain yield and both number of spikes/plant and biological yield,respectively.While negative and significant correlation was found between this trait and days to maturity.
