Abstract
The buffaloes breeding consider of great economic value in which provide the market with good source of the meat as well as the
buffalo milk of high quality more than that of the cow.
Delivery of healthy off spring is ultimate goal for the buffalo
breeder. This study was planned to give thorough some light on fetal
losses in buffaloes with special reference to the role of placenta in
occurrence of such condition by using:
1-Ultrasonographic examination of normal and abnormal pregnant
animals to estimate the combined utero placental thickness (CUPT).
2- Estimation of nitric oxide level in the serum of non pregnant,
