Differential line geometry consists of three parts: 1- the theory of ruled surfaces (a ruled surface is defined as a one parametric family of lines). 2- the theory of congruences congruence is defined as a two parametric family of lines).3- the theory of complexes (a complex is defined as a three parametric family of lines).
