Abstract
in the work, susceptibility of each of CER, Vero, MDBK and BHK cell cultures for propagation of duck plague virus (DPV) was studied throughout different items of assays in order to produce tissue culture adapted DPV to be valid for preparation of DP inactivated and serology of DP such as ELISA and SNT.THE OBTAINED RESULTS HAS BEEN demonstrated that the virus was readily cenotaphic in each of CER, VERO, BHK cell cultures but it needed three passages on MBDK cell cultures to be capable to produce visible CPE.
