Abstract
A Study was performed in order to evaluate a serological methods, serum neutralization test, indirect ELISA and CHEKIT – FMD- 3ABC ELISA for the differ nation of FMIDV infected animals from those that had been merely been vaccinated.Sets of sera from native , vaccinated and repeated vaccinated with crude-virus or purified vaccines, experimentally infected calves as well as from calves that had been vaccinated and infected at third week post vaccination , were examined to neutralizing ELISA antibody titer protein could be detected in all groups except naïve group.These antibodies were detected earlier than anti-3ABC.All sera from naïve , from vaccinated with a single dose of crude purified FMDV vaccine and from repeated vaccinated with a single dose of crude purified vaccine only were found negative for antibodies to 3ABC antigen.While, the repeated vaccinated calves with crude virus vaccine were seroconverted to 3ABC up to ambiguous value only.
