Abstract

of animals, Both rabbits and rats are famed for their reproductive
cnpahllities, The nMbit is an impOi’lant animal for: meat and fLlr
production. 11 In rabbits and white rats are used as laboratory animals for
ex p~r; mental purposes ln med icine and biology.
Rabbits and rats have a very high success rate for impregnation,

The study or tlie anatomicaland histological features of the female
genital system of rabbits and white rats are scarce in the available
literature .So the present investigation was carried out in order to give the
line detailsof the anatomy and histology of the female genital tract of
both balady rabbus and the white rats which fBI a gap in the field of
’omporatlve Anatomy. It also helps other clinical branches and
experimental studies applied on breeding of rabbits and white rats like the
.mifLcial insemination, embryo transfer, and surgical operations
cmcel”lling the female genital tract.
