Abstract
The great advances in wireless communication networks have to high desire for a strong data transmission. However, illegal data access has become more easy and prevalent in wireless networks. In order to protect valuable data from undesirable readers, data encryption has become a critical issue. But, the majority of encrypted image transmission schemes do not take into account wireless network characteristics such as the effect of bit errors occurring during transmission, processing time of encryption and decryption processes and this issue is considered a problem that should be handled by an efficient scheme.
