Abstract

ٍSupplemental Oxygen are Administered to Postoperative intratho- racic Patients in The Postoperative care unit is safe, simple and usually effective method to prophlactically ensure adequate oxygenation in most chest or cardiac Patients recovering from surgery and anethesia
However like any druge oxygen is prescribed in dosages safe for the patient.
oddly sometimes high conecentration of oxygen can be fatal whereas low concentration can be life saving.
During the postoperative when the patient returns from the operating room the nurse initally resonsiblefor assessingthe patients physical status to monitore .
