Abstract Postoperative analgesic modalities include oral or parental analgesics peripheral nerva blocks with local analgesic intrathecal and epidural analgesic Spinal anesthesia is easy to perform has a rapid onset and requires a smoll dose of drug to provide a reliable block Intrathecal adjuvant drugs administration has been an important part of contemporary medical practice in a variety of clinical setting Intrathecal adjuvant opiods ,a2adrenergic agonist (clonidine )sedative hypnotics non steroidal anti-inflammatory and neostigmine .these adjuvant are effective in increasing the quality of spinal anesthesia The aim of our study is to compare the Effect of adding morphine fentany ,midazolam clonidine and neostigmine intrathecal bupivacaine 60patients were divided into 6 equal groups ten patients each Group B :received 15 mg Bupivacaine 3ml+1ml saline GroupM: received 15 mg Bupivacaine 3ml+0.3mg Morphine sulphate in 1 ml saline Group F: received 15 mg Bupivacaine 15 mg 3ml +25ug Fentanyl citrate in 1ml saline Group D: received 15 mg Bupivacaine 3ml+1mg midazolam hydrochloride in 1ml saline Group C: received 15 mg Bupivacaine 3ml+150ug clonidine hydrochloride in 1ml saline |
