Our study showed the considered cultural issues and identify the effect of culture in shaping different sexual behavior across different cultures and ethnic groups. Also clarify the psychological and social role in the development of the sexual behavior. Our study, based on a questionnaire exposed various aspects of the sexual behavior in the Egyptian community. This study aimed to clarify the sexual behavior and it’s effect on married males in their lives. Our study were performed on 500 married males selected randomly. Their ages ranged from 25-70 years. A self administered questionnaires were used for collecting data in this study. The results of the study agreed with other international studies but only differ in issues concerning traditional and religious aspects. It is recommended to supply sex education for both boys and girls as they reach maturity, adopting suitable approaches matching their ages. This may stand against learning many attitudes and habits from improper sources. Still, religious ethics have a powerful impact on directing person’s attitudes. Adopting these ethics should be encouraged and improved so as to help protecting our community from undesired sexual behaviors. Finally, more studies on larger sample sizes and different population groups are recommended to figure out the different sexual thoughts and behaviors in our community and hence helps the authorities to structure the appropriate plans to rectify and clarify the incorrect and deficient sex education. |
