Person needs in his development to satisfy a group of motives and needs which guide his behavior in the right way to satisfy them. Hence the family role play a role in guiding the individual to the conducting in right paths which suit the social environment for the individual. But when there is a deaf person in the family and can’t deal effectively with other individual of the family, also he is different in the emotional characteristics from those of normal hearing because of his hearing loss. So then, the dealing with deaf person will become harder, and there will be more burdens on his family. So , this family should be helped to surpass this problem , to deal with him effectively in order to satisfy his psychological needs to become and interactive
individual with his family and social environment. Importance Of study : The study importance comes from: 1- The deaf person is a part of the society should go into
interaction and participation in society development, as he has abilities which should be used , and direct them in the right path to be useful to the society. 2- The deaf represent a significant proportion of the community having the rights and duties as a normal hearing people, so we must help them to overcome the barrier of disability and
come out of isolation and satisfy their needs 3- Families suffer difficulties in dealing with the deaf son, so they should have been directed so that they can interact with
him, bring it in line with his family. Objectives of the study: 1- Determining the differences between adolescents male and female deaf in the study variables (psychological needs - family affective climate). 2- Determining the relation between the psychological needs and family affective climate . 3- Dimensions of family affective climate contribute to predicting the psychological needs ( the subject of the
study).. Problem of the study: The deaf suffers difficulties in satisfying psychological
needs, which affects his personality traits, and mood, producing problems for his family and threatens the security of the family and society, he suffers from aggression towards himself and towards others, and sense of inferiority, which make him lose confidence in his society, and this makes him refuses to belong to that community and prefers independence away from society, hence, there is the role of the family
because of their effect on this member whom they are responsible for – helping him in overcoming the crisis and get rid of the limitations of psychiatric disability first and then the problems of communication so that he becomes effective individual in the community, through the emotional climate dominated by love and security, safety and warmth of the family. Concepts of the study: the psychological needs - emotional climate of the family – hearing loss. Hypotheses of the study: 1 - There is no statistically significant differences between adolescents male and female deaf in the study variables (psychological needs - emotional climate of the family). 2 - There is positive relation statistically significant between the psychological needs and emotional climate of the family with its dimensions (the non humanity – pretended love – the combined family - Abnormal emotional climate of the family) 3 - Dimensions of family affective climate contribute to predicting the psychological needs ( the subject of the study) statistically significant prediction. Methodological procedures of the study: Type of the study and the approach: the researcher used in this study, the descriptive approach in a manner of (Relation, comparison), study of human phenomena and the relationship that exists between the phenomena that affect the growth and comparison between these phenomena. Study Tools: 1 –A scale of psychological needs (Prepared by: Mohamed El- Sayed Abdel-Rahman) 2 - A scale of the family emotional climate (Prepared by: Alaaddin kafafi) Sample: The study sample consists of (200) Teen deaf, where they represent the seventh grade of primary school till end of secondary school, schools of Al amal in Fayoum. Statistical methods: - T test - Relation coefficient (Pearson) - Cronbach Alpha – regression analysis. Results of the study: 1 - There are significant differences between dolescents male and female of hearing impaired in each of (the need for psychological independence - the need for aggression) in favor of hearing impaired males. 2 - There is no statistically significant differences between adolescents hearing impaired male and female in the need for belonging. 3 - There are significant differences between adolescents hearing impaired male and female in the need for compensation for favor the females. 4 - There is no statistically significant differences between adolescents hearing impaired male and female in each of (The non humanity – abnormal emotional climate). 5 - There are significant differences between male and female
adolescents after the hearing impaired in the artificial love for the hearing impaired males. 6 - There are significant differences between adolescents hearing impaired male and female concerning the non existence of the combined family for the benefit of hearing impaired female 7- There is statistically significant positive relation between the psychological need to be independent and each of the (the non humanity – pretended love – the combined family - Abnormal emotional climate of the family- the total degree of emotional climate of the family). 8 - There is statistically significant positive relation between the need for aggression and each of (the non humanity – pretended love – the combined family – Abnormal emotional climate of the family- the total degree of emotional climate of the family). 9 -. There is statistically significant positive relation between the need to belonging, and each of (the non humanity – pretended love – the combined family – Abnormal emotional climate of the family- the total degree of emotional climate of the family). 10 - There is statistically significant positive relation between the need for compensation and each of (the non humanity – the combined family). 11- The dimensions of emotional climate of the family contribute to predicting the need for the psychological
independence statistically significant. 12 - The dimensions of emotional climate of the family contribute to predicting the need of aggression statistically significant. 13 - The dimensions of emotional climate of the family contribute to following (non humanity – combined family- pretended love) in predicting the need of belonging statistically. 14 - The dimensions of emotional climate of the family contribute to following (non humanity- pretended love) in predicting the need of compensation statistically.
