Abstract Crooked nose is one of the most difficult types of rhinoplasty. Both nasal obstruction and external deviation are present in these patients. Achieving a straight nasal septum is crucial for proper correction. Extracorporeal septoplasty was advised for treatment of severely septal deviations. The authors had compared the results of crooked nose correction by traditional open rhinoplasty to those by open rhinoplasty and extracorporeal septoplasty. The second technique proved to yield better results both in function and shape. |
