Abstract EVALUATION OF THE INHIBITION ROLE OF SOME ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY COMPOUNDS IN CONTROLLING THE CORROSION IN WATER CIRCUITS OF STEAM POWER PLANTS The inhibition effect of four amino acids named Glycine, Serine, Tryptophan and Tyrosine as environment-friendly compounds on the corrosion inhibition of low alloy boiler steel (ASTM A213 T22) in aerated stagnant and non-stagnant 0.5M ammoniated citric acid solutions of pH 3.8 ± 0.1 at different temperatures 25, 35, 45 and 550 oC ±2 have been investigated. |
