The present study aimed at verifying the efficiency of behavior counseling in reducing symptoms of oppositional behavior disorder in pupils at the primary school .Subjects were 21child of oppositional behavior disorder males and females :14 of them represented as two experimental groups . The first group were7 children and the second group were7 children together with their mothers the other 7 children were regarded as a control group . they were derived from Alqumia primary school in Mania their ages ranged from 9:12 years their IQS were (90-110). The tools used were child symptom inventory-4 (CSI-4)Gadow& Sparfkin parent checklist (CSI-4.P) and teacher checklist (CSI-4.T) prepared by Abdel rakeep Elbehary , Draw-A Man test of goodenough Harris (prepared by Safwat Farag 1986) , the list of the data from the child (prepared by the investigator) and the study’s two counseling programs(prepared by the investigator) . Non parametric methods were used. findings showed that there was a significant difference between mean scores of the two experimental and control groups on oppositional behavior disorder in (CSI-4.P) and(CSI-4.T) after using techniques of counseling behavior which indicates the efficiency of the two counseling programs of the study.
