Abstract
Wheat is considered to be the most dynamic sector 1n world grain production . In Egypt , the average of wheat .harvested during 1987 - 1989 was 1.4 Million fiddan , yielding.903 Million tons, while the net imports of wheat during the same period is estimated by 7.105 Million tons( Anonymous ,1991 ) •Wheat in Egypt is liable to the attack by many diseases such as rusts , smuts , mildews and some other diseases of minor importance.Rust infection is considered one of the limiting factors of wheat productivity in Egypt ( Addel-Hak , ~~· , 1972 ).Stem and leaf
