Abstract This report demonstrates the benefits of using the fuzzy logic control in naval war ships compared with conventional PID control. Conventional control has less reliability compared with intelligent control, especially in the field of military applications A fuzzy logic controller (FLC) is designed and implemented in real time to control the war ship in order to track the reference input. The parameters of the FLC are tuned by trial and error, which are designed based on implicit model (expert knowledge) of the process. Adaptive fuzzy logic in the field of ship steering is also presented. Unmanned surface vehicle and their techniques are also discussed. |
