Abstract The period after birth in dairy cows is the most important periods. There are some of the problems which may occur that lead to a lack of fertility, which leads to increase in the open days period and calving interval. This leads to significant economic losses through the cost of treatments and increase the rate of exclusion of cows from the herd and also part of the loss of milk production. This study was aimed to study some of this problems that occur in this period such as retained placenta, endometritis and delayed uterine involution. and evaluation of some methods used in the treatment of using certain drugs and hormones and evaluate fertility subsequent to the cows represented in pregnancy of cows. All cows in this study were followed up by rectal palpation for pregnancy diagnosis at 60 days post insemination. This study was occurred on a number (136) one hundred and thirty-six Milking a cow and the cows were divided according to the problems and treatments used to the following groups. |
