Abstract
Aim of the work . Since there is a lot of work related to pseudomonas and domestic birds but not to free living
birds this study was designated to shed some light on the characteristic features of P. aeruginosa isolated from
free living birds in comparison with domesticated ones so the aim of this work was as follow : Isolation and
identification of P. aeruginosa from freshly dead diseased and apparently healthy cases of domestic birds (ducks,
chickens, turkeys and geese) and free living birds (pigeons, ibises, hoopoes and jackdaws) with estimation of
its incidence.
