Abstract
Low level of frustrationn tolerance and reacting aggressively and neuroticly to frustration situation is an important public health problem. The present study investigated levels of general aggression, types and patterns of aggression reaction to frust-ration situations among university women students in Alexandria university of Egypt, and King Abdulaziz University of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The study also investigated levels of aggression reaction to two types of frustration, ego-blocking, and superego-blocking frustration situation. Some psychological and social factors related to students aggression were also investigated. The sample was 621 students (307 from AU and 314 from KU), SAMPLED AS SAMPLE OF EQUAL PROPROTION from FIVE schools in both universities.
A questionnaire was designed for the sample consisting the following items:
1-Frustration situations test of two forms, one
2-Social and psychological background of the student such as parents level of education, parent’sconsan-guinity, family restriction, students’living condition student’s academic achievement,ect.
