Abstract This research represent study about how to eliminate flared gas emissions from refineries and gas plants by using flare gas recovery system which is working by sucking flared gas before reaching the flare tip compress it and reuse in fuel gas network to light the fired heaters or by using it as feed stock again. Elimination of flared gas study including both environmental and economic benefits by studying the effect of flared gas on the environment, and global warming with taking in consideration the international studies to reduce the negative effects that results from flared gases from factories with showing how is easy to install flare gas recovery systems. Data collected from refinery (Suez oil petroleum refinery) & gas plant (United Gas Derivates Company) to perform project economic studies and compare the results at different scenarios, which all shows that the project is environmentally and economically accepted. Key Words Flares, KOYTO protocol, global warming, flare gas recovery equipments, zero flaring unit ignition system, feasibility study. |
