Abstract

The following hypotheses have been formulated: There is no statistically significant difference ill the mean scores between the experimental and the control group on the post- test on content and organization. There is no statistically significant difference ill the mean scores between the experimental and the control group on the post-test on grammar. There is no statistically significant difference in the mean scores between the experimental and the control group on the post- test on vocabulary. There is no statistically significant difference in the mean scores between the experimental and the control group on the post- test on writing mechanics. There is no statistically significant difference in the mean scores between the experimental and the control group on the post -test on the total writing proficiency test. There is no statistically significant difference ill the mean scores between the pre-and post test of the experimental group on content and organization. There is no statistically significant difference in the mean scores between the pre-and post test of the experimental group on grammar.
