Abstract Young adulthood is the prime of health. During this period knowledg, attitude and behaviors have health consequences that continues through adulthood either in negative or positive way and it has aheavy impact over the future of adult’s health. Health and quality of life during adulthood depend on health during infancy, childhood and adolescence; Moreover, health behavior pattern learned early in life are seen to be confirmed in adolescence, and then persist into adulthood. In addition to these, a healthy life style is the result of choices that a person makes over his cours of a life/time, these choices emerge from family and reflect its unique cultural, ethnic, religious and socioeconomic beliefs. Healthful lifestyles promote health, while health and illness can be influenced by lifestyle. Many of the major health problems in developing and developed countries are related to individual behavior such as tobacco and drug use, dietary habit, unsafe sexual practices and inadequate exercises. So, Change in lifestyle is a major avenue for reducing illness and for improving health throughout the life span. |
