Abstract
Acording to the world health organization pain is indeed a major puvlic health problem that is often neglected in both developed and developing countries. the reason for this neglect may be due to various factora including the cost of treatment, inaccurate perception of pain, poor pain assessment, lack of clinical knowledge of pharmacokinetics and equianalgesic dosing; and lack of professional accountability.
