Abstract Aim of the work To study soluble CD14, L-fucose and Sialic acid in breast milk and their role in increasing the immunity of the breast-fed infants. Conclusion In conclusion: breast milk contains protective factors as soluble CD14, L-fucose and Sialic acid which increase the innate immunity of the newly born infants and so increase the level of intelligence and decrease the incidence of gastroenteritis, chest and other systemic diseases. |
